LEOPARD 1
The Leopard 1 is a German second-generation main battle tank (MBT).
Developed by Porsche in the 1960s, it entered service in 1965. The Leopard 1 was the primary battle tank for the West German army before being replaced by the Leopard 2.
Various versions of the Leopard 1 continue to be used by the armed forces of several countries around the world, including Greece, Turkey, Brazil, and Australia. Some operating states have licensed the Leopard 1 design for local production and domestic development.
